COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The eight-team field for the 2025 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship, presented by Under Armour, was set on Thursday night. However, the four quarterfinal matchups did not settle into place until late Saturday afternoon.
Colorado School of Mines finished the RMAC slate with an 18-2 record to win its 11th regular season title and first since 2019. The Orediggers put together an eight-game win streak in conference play to open up a four-game lead in the standings.
Regis secured the No. 2 seed on the final day of the regular season with a win at UCCS. That win also snapped the Rangers' four-game losing streak, and they enter the championship on a high note.
Colorado Mesa claimed the No. 3 seed with its charge to the finish line, winning six straight games to finish the regular season with the longest win streak in the league.
MSU Denver secured the No. 4 seed via a tiebreaker after dropping back-to-back road games to end the regular season. The Roadrunners will get to open the tournament at home, where they are 7-3 this season.
The bottom half of the bracket is led by No. 5 seed Black Hills State, which posted a 13-7 league mark, No. 6 seed Fort Lewis, No. 7 seed UCCS, and No. 8 seed Chadron State.
The top four seeds will host a quarterfinal game on Tuesday, March 4. The highest remaining seed after the four quarterfinals will host the semifinals on Friday, March 7 and the championship game on Saturday, March 8.
All three rounds and seven games are available on pay-per-view on the RMAC Network. A Championship Pass for every game of the tournament is available for $20. Day passes, which allow access to all the games on that day, is available for $9.99.
Tickets for every game of the championship are available for purchase at RMACSports.org/Tickets. Fans should purchase their tickets in advance as digital ticketing is the preferred method of entry at all campus sites.
