COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its final Player of the Week awards for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season on Monday. Chadron State guard Zy Wright earns the Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Colorado Christian’s Promise Idiaru grabs the Defensive Player of the Week award.

Offensive Player of the Week: Zy Wright, Chadron State (Sr., Guard, Lincolnton, Georgia)
Wright was dominant for the Eagles as they closed out their 2024-25 regular season in style. The senior started the weekend with a 28-point outing against Fort Lewis, en route to an 84-82 victory and a trip to the conference Championship. Wright was extremely efficient throughout Thursday’s matchup, shooting 50% from the field and 91% from the free throw line. The senior followed this up with 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting against Adams State. When he wasn’t scoring, Wright was still effective, collecting a season-high six assists and four steals. The Eagles head into the RMAC Championship as the No. 8 seed.
