COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Week 7 RMAC Men’s Golfer of the Week award on Thursday, with Colorado Christian’s Xavier Bighaus claiming the league’s latest award.
Men’s Golfer of the Week: Xavier Bighaus, Colorado Christian (Sr., Melissa, Texas)
Bighaus led the Cougars to a second-place finish at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California. With CCU being the only Division II team in the field, Bighaus delivered an impressive performance, shooting rounds of 65, 70, and 69 to secure the individual title. The Cougars showed no signs of rust after the fall season, posting a stellar team score of 837, finishing at an impressive -27 to secure second place.
