Colorado Mesa’s Cole Beyer Captures Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Week 10 RMAC Men’s Golfer of the Week award on Thursday. Colorado Mesa senior Cole Beyer earns his second Golfer of the Week honor of the 2024-25 season following an individual title.
 
Men’s Golfer of the Week: Cole Beyer, Colorado Mesa (Sr., Woodburn, Oregon)
Beyer delivered a commanding performance to earn medalist honors at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona. The Woodburn, Oregon native opened the tournament with a strong two-under-par 70, then caught fire in the final two rounds—firing a blistering 65 (-7) followed by a 66 (-6), capturing the 54-hole title. On his way to the top of the leaderboard, Beyer def defeated 12 nationally ranked competitors, including fifth-ranked Seth Bearden of Midwestern State.
