COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2025 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse All-RMAC rosters and major award winners were announced on Thursday. Colorado Mesa University claims five of the league’s individual honors, with Courtney Havel earning Attacker of the Year, Ali Bryant claiming Defensive Player of the Year, Ashley Delaney grabbing Coach of the Year, and Heather Hawkins garnering Goalkeeper of the Year and Freshman of the Year. Regis University senior Madison Schallmoser rounds out this year’s major award winners, seizing the Defensive Player of the Year award.

The All-RMAC teams and awards are selected and voted on by the league’s six head coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their players.

Havel earns the Attacker of the Year title after leading the Mavericks with 44 goals and an impressive .724 shot-on-goal percentage. The Lake Oswego, Oregon native has been a model of efficiency all year, finishing fourth in the conference in both goals and total points (53). Her play propelled the Mavericks to the No. 1 seed in the RMAC this season, earning them the right to host the 2025 RMAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history.

Bryant has been named RMAC Midfielder of the Year after a very successful 2025 regular season campaign. The senior from Huntington Beach, California, leads the Mavericks with 70 draw controls—ranking second in the RMAC—while also collecting 26 groundballs and causing 16 turnovers. Bryant is a presence on both ends of the field, adding 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 total points, including two 5-point performances this season and a four-goal outing. Bryant ranks second all-time in CMU draw controls (267), fourth in both groundballs (125) and caused turnovers (67), and tied for eighth in career points (117).

Schallmoser has earned RMAC Defensive Player of the Year honors after a standout season anchoring the Rangers’ defensive unit. The Downers Grove, Illinois native was a force on the defensive end, leading the team with 47 groundballs and ranking second in caused turnovers with 25. Schallmoser has proven to be a great on-ball defender, collecting only 12 fouls in her 15 starts. The senior also contributed offensively, scoring 10 goals on 23 shots on goal.

Hawkins garners the Freshman and Goalkeeper of the Year awards following an outstanding season in the cage for the Mavericks. In her debut season, Hawkins made an immediate impact between the pipes, leading the RMAC in both goals against average (7.29) and save percentage (.529) during conference play. After taking over the starting role early in her freshman campaign, Hawkins started 12 games, posting a 9.01 goals against average and a .500 save percentage. The Palmer Lake, Colorado, native ranks among the top 10 in Division II in save percentage and was named the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association National Player of the Week on April 1. She also earned RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice (March 17 & 31).

In her second season as head coach of the Colorado Mesa Women’s Lacrosse Program, Delaney earns Coach of the Year recognition. Under her leadership, the Mavericks posted a 10-5 regular season record and captured the No. 1 seed in the RMAC, securing hosting rights for the 2025 RMAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history. Delaney’s impact has been felt across the board, with CMU earning five major conference awards and placing six players on the All-RMAC First Team, along with two Second Team selections.

A total of 25 student-athletes representing five institutions have been named to the 2025 Women’s Lacrosse All-RMAC teams. Colorado Mesa and Regis lead the way with eight selections each, followed the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with five student-athletes honored. Westminster University earned two three spots on the rosters, while Colorado State University Pueblo rounded out the list with one selection.
