CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference concluded the 2024-25 season with three teams ranked in the Top 15 in the Division II Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings, the association announced Tuesday.
Colorado School of Mines set the pace for the RMAC institutions, finishing as the top-performing institution in the league and earning an impressive eighth-place ranking among all NCAA Division II schools. The Orediggers totaled 671 points across the year, highlighted by 248 points in the fall championship season, 263.5 in the winter, and 159.5 in the spring.
Colorado State University Pueblo claimed the second-highest spot among RMAC institutions and finished 12th overall in the NCAA Division II standings with a total of 592.5 points. The ThunderWolves delivered their strongest performance in the fall, earning 282.5 points, followed by 133.5 points in the winter and 176.5 in the spring.
Adams State University closely followed CSU Pueblo in the national standings, finishing 13th overall in DII with 584 total points. The Grizzlies made a strong showing across all seasons, earning 185 points in the fall and 237 in the winter. Their spring total of 162 points came entirely from outstanding performances in men’s and women’s outdoor track & field, with 72 points contributed by the men and 90 by the women.
Colorado Mesa University (27), Colorado Christian University (59), University of Colorado Colorado Springs (61), and Western Colorado (76) all earn spots within the top 100 in the standings, giving the RMAC seven teams in the top 100.
Fort Lewis College (121), Metropolitan State University of Denver (136), New Mexico Highlands University (148), Chadron State College (182), Regis University (200), and Westminster University (216) round out the RMAC representatives on the Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings.
