LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 2025 Team Academic Awards on Monday, with nine institutions from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference earning national recognition for their academic excellence.
Adams State University, Chadron State College, Colorado Christian University, Colorado State University Pueblo, Regis University, South Dakota Mines, and Westminster University each earned AVCA Team Academic Award honors in recognition of their strong performance in the classroom.
In addition, Colorado Mesa University, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Westminster University received an even higher distinction by being named to the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll—an accolade reserved for the top 20% of programs in their division based on team grade-point average. Collectively, the three RMAC institutions represent three of just 32 programs nationwide to earn this elite honor.
To be eligible for the AVCA Team Academic Award, programs must have maintained a year-long team GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale).
