The ThunderWolves were just one point shy of sweeping the Preseason Coaches’ Poll, tallying eight first-place votes and one second-place vote, giving them 80 total points. Head coach Tammy Lim enters her third season leading the CSU Pueblo women's golf program. During her tenure as head coach, she has guided the ThunderWolves to back-to-back RMAC Women’s Golf Championships in 2023-24 and 2024-25. Prior to taking the helm, Lim also played a key role as an assistant coach, helping the team secure the 2022-23 conference title. Lim continues to coach a loaded CSU Pueblo roster that’s returning three 2024-25 First Team All-RMAC honorees in Freya Constable, Lisa Ekberg, and Yale Lee.
Colorado Christian University lands at No. 2 in the RMAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll with 70 points, closely followed by Westminster in third with 66 points. Colorado Mesa University claims the fourth spot with 60 points, while Metropolitan State University of Denver rounds out the top five with 45 points—just one point ahead of Fort Lewis College, which sits in sixth.
Chadron State College (30), South Dakota Mines (25), Black Hills State University (20), and Adams State (10) close out the 2025-26 poll, ranking seventh through tenth, respectively.
Last season, Lam made an immediate impact for Westminster and across the RMAC, earning both Freshman of the Year and Golfer of the Year honors. She captured the individual title at the 2024-25 RMAC Women’s Golf Championship with an impressive eight-under par performance. Her standout season earned her a spot in the NCAA West Regional, where she placed 22nd out of 111 competitors.
The RMAC’s 10 women’s golf teams are looking to finish 2025-26 at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the host of the 2026 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship. The championship tees off on May 12 and will conclude on the 16th. Ticket information for the national championship will be available at NCAA.com at a later date.
