COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced it has reached an agreement with the Air Force Academy to host the 2026 RMAC Women’s Wrestling Championship, while the 2026 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championship will return to Colorado Mesa University.
The RMAC Women’s Wrestling Championships will be held Jan. 31, 2026, at the Cadet Gymnasium – East Gym on the Air Force Academy campus in Colorado Springs. The Air Force Academy was set to be the host of the 2025 championship before security concerns forced the event’s relocation to Colorado College’s campus. The RMAC will have a backup site available in the event such an incident occurs again.
Two weeks later, the RMAC Swimming & Diving Championship returns to Colorado Mesa on Feb. 10-14. Following last season’s championship, the league put forth a request for proposals seeking a lower-altitude site, but was unable to find a partner. Colorado Mesa stepped into the void and will again host the championship in 2026, with the league remaining open to any facility at a lower altitude interested in hosting the tournament in future years.
With the host sites for the women’s wrestling and swimming & diving championships set, the league has its 2025-26 Championship Tournament schedule set. That slate is available on the RMAC Website under the Championships menu.
