COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s Thale Victoria Estensen, a native of Hoevik, Norway, is the Week 2 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week, announced Thursday.

Estensen, a standout freshman for the ThunderWolves, secured her first collegiate victory at the Travis Roy Memorial Invite held by South Dakota Mines. On the par-72 course in Sheridan, Wyoming, Estensen opened the invitational with a two-under-par 70, placing her second after the first round. The freshman stormed through her Round 2, shooting another two-under-par 70, which catapulted her into first place. For the tournament, Estensen shot four-under par, defeating the next RMAC competitor by three strokes. Estenson’s individual success powered CSU Pueblo to a 30-stroke team victory.
