Black Hills State’s Gavin Kuhlenbeck Earns RMAC Cross Country Men’s Runner of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Gavin Kuhlenbeck is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after winning the individual title in the Gold Race at the Green/Dirksen Invitational hosted by the University of Nebraska. Kuhlenbeck led all Division II runners, finishing 11th overall.  

The Yellow Jackets’ senior runner posted an 8k time of 24:50.06 to earn the individual title in a field of 236 runners with several representatives from highly ranked programs. This marks Kuhlenbeck’s second consecutive individual title after winning the Gage McSpadden Memorial on September 5 in Sturgis, South Dakota. 

Kuhlenbeck and Black Hills State next compete on October 11 at the Lewis Crossover Invite in Romeoville, Illinois. This will be their final competition before the 2025 RMAC Cross Country Championship in Colorado Springs on October 25.
