COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announces its partnership with Genesee Nutrition to offer protein bars for athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators at select 2025-2026 RMAC championships. Genesee will also become the title sponsor of the RMAC Football and Men’s and Women’s Basketball Player of the Week awards, and the RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Founded by Colorado School of Mines men’s basketball alumnus Will Carr and co-founder Lauren Klein, Genesee Nutrition is a family-owned company located in Colorado that produces high-quality nutrition bars with clean ingredients and 20 grams of protein. The company’s mission is to support happy, healthy, and active lifestyles, taking pride in offering a product that is not only healthy, but packed with great taste and flavor.
“As a former RMAC athlete, I’m beyond excited to be partnering with the RMAC now,” said Will Carr, founder of Genesee Nutrition. “These college athletes are the best at what they do! Providing quality nutrition for them with our elite protein bar so they can fuel up their body and mind is how I get to still be a part of these special experiences. I want the absolute best for these young adults, and look forward to seeing them succeed in their sport, in the classroom, and in life as a whole.”
Genesee’s motto, “Healthy, Active, Happy,” and family-oriented approach align with the RMAC and Division II’s philosophy to holistically support student-athletes and encourage a balanced life. Genesee’s support of RMAC championships also adds value to the student-athlete experience at these events, providing further resources for them to feel prepared to compete at their best.
“We’re proud to welcome Genesee as an official partner of the RMAC,” said Lexie Vernon, RMAC Interim Commissioner. “It is exciting to combine such a valuable sponsorship with our support of a former RMAC student-athlete, all while adding value to our championships and celebrating the incredible work our student-athletes put into their contests each week.”
Genesee will also offer a promotional code to RMAC fans and championship attendees to use during online ordering at
GeneseeNutrition.com. This code will be promoted in conjunction with pre-championship communications.
The RMAC is proud to partner with and promote Genesee Nutrition throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, and continues to prioritize student-athlete well-being and overall performance for each of its member institutions.
