COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adams State University, Chadron State College, Colorado Mesa University, Simon Fraser University, and Texas Woman’s University all travel to Colorado Springs for the third annual Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Wrestling Championship. The event will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 31, in the Cadet East Gym on the Air Force Academy campus.
Simon Fraser enters the 2026 Championship after claiming the regular-season title for the third consecutive year. The Red Leafs once again went undefeated in conference duals this season, beating Adams State (30-16), Texas Woman’s (25-22), Colorado Mesa (26-19), and Chadron State (34-11). Simon Fraser brings Lene McCrackin, Paige Maher, and Julia Richey, the winners of the 160, 180, and 207-pound weight classes at the 2025 RMAC Championship.
Colorado Mesa, the winners of last year’s championship, come into the 2026 edition with a 10-8 overall record in dual competitions this season. Last season, the Mavericks took home the first-ever RMAC tournament team title with 149.5 points, besting second-place by more than 20 points. CMU returns Marjorie McDaniel and Lorianna Piestewa, the winners of the 117 and 124-pound weight classes last season, respectively.
Chadron State joins Colorado Mesa and Simon Fraser with 15 student-athletes competing in the championship, while Adams State and Texas Woman’s brings 13 wrestlers All student-athletes have their eyes set on new hardware, aiming to dominate their weight class.

All RMAC Championship events, including the women’s wrestling championship matches, will be broadcast on the RMAC Network. All RMAC Championship broadcasts are included in annual and monthly subscriptions. Championship matches are available on a pay-per-day basis for $15, allowing fans to watch any championship match played on a particular day.
