COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Mesa University senior swimmer Titouan Bernot and diver Wyatt Hermanson claim the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s men’s swimming & diving weekly honors, announced Thursday.
Swimmer
Titouan Bernot, Colorado Mesa (Sr., Nancy, France)
Bernot impressed in his debut, recording a pair of wins and five NCAA “B” Cut times. He leads the country in four different events and is second in two others. In Friday's meet, he won the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.69-altitude converted), helping the Mavericks finish first out of four teams and ahead of Division I squads BYU and Utah as well as RMAC foe Adams State. In Saturday's meet, scored separately, he won the 500-yard freestyle (4:23.97-altitude converted) as the Mavericks took second ahead of Utah and Adams State and only behind BYU. Over the two days, he also claimed fourth in the 100-yard IM (50.43-altitude converted) and eighth in the 400-yard IM (3:56.71-altitude converted) to close out his individual events. The senior was part of the third-place 200-yard free relay (1:21.30), the second-place 400-yard medley relay (3:14.70-altitude converted), the second-place 400-yard free relay (2:55.80-altitude converted), and swam the leadoff leg of the 100-yard free relay (44.50-altitude converted) teams.

Diver
Wyatt Hermanson, Colorado Mesa (5th year, Mandan, N.D.)
Hermanson, who returned from injury that kept him out of the second half of the 2025-26 season, helped lead the Mavericks to wins over Division I BYU and Utah and RMAC foes Adams State and Western Colorado during the Intermountain Shootout meets over the weekend. He was sixth in a field of 12 and ahead of three BYU divers during Friday's 1-meter event, recording 243.25 points on six dives as the Mavericks took first as a team. The fifth-year then led the Mavericks with a fifth-place finish in Saturday's 3-meter event with 264.30 points on six dives, again finishing ahead of three BYU divers, helping CMU take second as a team. His 3-meter score is the best in the RMAC and ranks him sixth nationally, according to Swimcloud, and he ranks ninth in the country on the 1-meter.
