DENVER, Colo. – Colorado Mesa University senior Kylie Hoffman is the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Summit Award winner, the conference announced Wednesday, ahead of the Mavericks semifinal matchup in the 2026 RMAC Women’s Soccer Tournament.
Hoffman, a native of Westminster, earns Summit Award honors while maintaining a perfect 4.0 undergraduate GPA in Mass Communications across 92 credit hours. Her excellence in the classroom is matched by her contributions on the pitch, where she has been a consistent presence for the Mavericks. The defender has started 16 games and logged 1,298 minutes this season, helping anchor a defensive unit that ranks third in the RMAC with an opponent scoring average of just 0.67 goals per game. With Hoffman playing a key role, Colorado Mesa wrapped up the 2026 regular season with a 9-4-4 overall record and a 7-2-3 mark in conference play, securing the No. 4 seed in the RMAC Tournament.
The RMAC’s Summit Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the finals site of their respective sport's championship. Summit Award winners must compete in 20 percent of available competitions throughout the current season. All GPAs are based on a straight-grading scale to ensure consistency among nominees. All ties are broken by the total number of credit hours completed through the most recently concluded semester.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be sophomores or above and have participated in their sport at their institution for at least two years. They must also be active members of their teams and travel to and compete at the RMAC championship event.
