COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the third consecutive season, Colorado School of Mines forward Bella Campos has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Year, the league announced Tuesday. Campos headlines the 2026 All-RMAC Women’s Soccer Teams and major award recipients.
Campos is joined by teammate Natalie Rouse, who earned Defensive Player of the Year honors for the third time in her career at Colorado School of Mines. Regis University also landed two major award winners, with Maggie Payne named Goalkeeper of the Year and head coach Jeff Frykholm earning Coach of the Year honors. Black Hills State University freshman Ivy Agee rounds out the major award recipients after being named Freshman of the Year.
The All-RMAC teams and awards are selected by the league’s 13 head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for themselves or their own players.
Senior forward Bella Campos earned her third consecutive RMAC Player of the Year award, after being named Co-Player of the Year in 2024 and Player of the Year in 2025. The latest accolade adds to an impressive career at Colorado School of Mines, where she has also been named RMAC Freshman of the Year (2023) and earned four First-Team All-RMAC selections (2023-26). The Highland Village, Texas, native put together a career-best regular season in 2026, scoring 26 goals. She leads the RMAC in goals (26), shots (121), and shots on goal (59). Her dominance extends beyond conference play, as she leads NCAA Division II in goals per game (1.42) and points per game (3.26), while ranking second nationally in shots per game (6.37) and shots on goal per game (3.11). Behind the production of one of Division II's premier players, Colorado School of Mines has captured two consecutive RMAC Women's Soccer Championships and enters the 2026 RMAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed, looking to secure a third straight title.
Rouse earned the third major award of her Colorado School of Mines career, adding to her previous Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2023 and 2025. The redshirt senior anchored an Oredigger defense that surrendered just 10 goals during conference play while committing only 93 fouls, the second-fewest in the RMAC. Through 18 games this season, Colorado School of Mines has allowed an average of just one goal per game, the sixth-best mark in the conference. Rouse also made an impact on the offensive end, scoring seven goals in 2026 while recording 12 shots on goal. She logged 1,564 minutes on the pitch this season, providing a consistent presence on both sides of the ball.
Regis’ Payne has been named the 2026 RMAC Goalkeeper of the Year after putting together a standout season for the Rangers. The Overland Park, Kansas, native established herself as one of the conference’s top goalkeepers, earning five RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors. Payne appeared in 18 games, making 17 starts and logging 1,359 minutes in goal. She allowed just seven goals throughout the season, including only two in conference play, while making 84 saves. Her .923 save percentage led the RMAC and ranks fourth nationally in NCAA Division II. Payne also recorded seven solo shutouts and 11 combined shutouts, capping an impressive season in which she led the conference in goals allowed, saves and save percentage.
Agee is the 2026 RMAC Freshman of the Year, earning the award after making an immediate impact in her debut season with the Yellow Jackets. The Powell, Wyoming, native finished among the conference leaders in several offensive categories, ranking second in shots (84) and shots on goal (39), while placing third in goals (14) and points (32). Agee's production also earned national recognition, as her 32 points ranked fourth among all freshmen in Division II. Her contributions helped Black Hills State reach a milestone in program history, as the Yellow Jackets made their first-ever appearance in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament. Black Hills State entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed after finishing the regular season with a 10-4-4 overall record and a 6-4-2 mark in conference play.
A historic regular season for Regis has earned Frykholm the 2026 RMAC Coach of the Year honor. Frykholm guided the Rangers to a 15-2-1 overall record while remaining unbeaten in conference play at 11-0-1, capturing the program's seventh RMAC regular-season title. The exceptional 2026 season also secured Regis the No. 1 seed in the RMAC Championship and hosting rights for the semifinal and championship rounds. It marks the first time since 2017 that the Rangers have hosted the tournament, capping an impressive regular season under Frykholm’s leadership.
