GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Oklahoma Christian University’s win in the 200 freestyle relay capped Day 4 action at the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships, Friday, at El Pomar Natatorium.
The Eagles claimed their first win in the 200 freestyle relay, with Neyali Matos, Andi Jeanes, Callie Edmonds, and Vanessa Weatherford combining to finish in 1:33.97.
Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Mesa each had two individual event wins on the day. The Mavericks picked up wins in the 100 backstroke by Tayar Hooten and the 500 freestyle courtesy Olivia Hansson. The Orediggers saw Jordan Tierney win the 100 breaststroke while Mikaela Khan nabbed the win in the 200 butterfly.
Colorado Mesa extended its lead in the team competition to nearly 400 points, finishing Day 3 with 1,357.50 points. Colorado School of Mines is second with 991.50 points, and Simon Fraser is third with 884 points.
The final day of the championship begins at 10 a.m. with preliminary heats followed by the 2 p.m. 3-meter women’s diving preliminaries. The all-final session begins at 5:30 p.m. and concludes with the presentation of the team championships and the swimmer and diver of the championship award presentations.
