Nic Jensen Named First Golfer of the Week for the Spring Season

Jensen finishes in a tie for second in Westminster’s first tournament of 2026

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –  Westminster University junior Nic Jensen claims the first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week award of the 2026 spring season.

At the Men’s DII Visit Stockton Invitational, Jensen delivered an impressive performance, firing a two-round total of 4-under-par 140 to earn a tie for second individually. The junior posted back-to-back rounds of 70 on the par-72 layout, finishing two under in each round of the tournament. He also ranked among the event’s top par-5 scorers, averaging 4.38 strokes per hole to finish 5-under on par 5s.

Jensen’s strong play helped propel Westminster to a team score of 5-over-par 581 and a tie for fourth place in the 21-team field.
