Colorado Mesa’s Dylan Everett Grabs RMAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Honors

Everett finishes ties for ninth and climbs the national rankings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –  Colorado Mesa University junior Dylan Everett claims the Week 7 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week award, the conference announced Tuesday.

Everett claims the seventh edition of the RMAC Men’s Golfer of the Week award after leading all RMAC golfers at the Las Vegas Desert Classic. The junior delivered a consistent performance across the three-day event, carding a 54-hole total of 3-under-par 213 to tie for ninth in a highly competitive field. After opening the tournament with a 3-over-par 75, Everett bounced back in impressive fashion, firing back-to-back rounds of 3-under-par 69 to climb the leaderboard. Behind Everett’s strong showing, Colorado Mesa finished third in the 20-team field, outperforming three top-10 ranked teams and eight programs ranked inside the top 25.

Following the tournament, Everett jumped 17 spots in the SCOREBOARD national rankings and now sits at No. 48 nationally.
