COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its last Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Awards for the 2025-26 season on Monday, with South Dakota Mines’ Jason Lee and Western Colorado University’s Joanis Koulisianis taking home the Offensive and Defensive awards, respectively. RMAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week awards are presented by Genesee Nutrition.'
Offensive
Jason Lee, South Dakota Mines (Junior, Guard, Los Angeles, California)
Lee earned another Offensive Player of the Week honor after a dominant individual performance in the Hardrockers’ final two games of the season.
The junior from Los Angeles, California, opened the week with a spectacular 38-point performance against Colorado Mesa, shooting an impressive 62 percent from the field, 67 percent from beyond the arc, and 75 percent at the free-throw line. The guard also contributed five assists and three rebounds.
In the season’s final home game against Western Colorado, Lee delivered 24 points and three assists while logging 39 minutes on the court.
For the week, Lee totaled 62 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field, 47 percent from three-point range, and 87 percent from the charity stripe.

Defensive
Joanis Koulisianis, Western Colorado (Freshman, Forward, Brno, Czech Republic)
Koulisianis closed his season in impressive fashion, anchoring the Mountaineers’ defense in a two-game stretch.
Against Chadron State, the freshman rejected four shots, pulled down five rebounds, and scored 13 points to help Western Colorado secure an 80-76 victory over the Eagles.
He followed with another standout defensive performance, posting three steals, one block, nine rebounds, and 19 points. With Koulisianis leading the way, Western Colorado rolled past South Dakota Mines 81-63 to close the season at 10-18 overall (8-12 RMAC).
On the week, Koulisianis averaged 16 points, collected 14 rebounds, blocked five shots, and recorded 4 steals.
