COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo junior Lisa Ekberg is the latest winner of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week award, the conference announced Thursday.

Ekberg is the RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Week after an impressive performance at the Southern Colorado Open. The junior finished tied for first in a competitive 84-player field, posting a two-round total of 143 (72-71) to finish at 1-under par. Ekberg entered the final round tied atop the leaderboard, keeping her position with consistent golf to earn co-medalist honors. She led all RMAC competitors in the field and played a key role in guiding the ThunderWolves to the team title at their home tournament.
