COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Christian University senior Peyton Jones is the winner of the Week 9 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week award, the conference announced Thursday.

Jones earns his second RMAC Golfer of the Week honor after a first-place finish at the Sam Proal Invite hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo. On the par-71 course, Jones opened the three-round tournament with an impressive 3-under-par 68, putting him in a tie for second place. The senior then fired off an impressive 6-under-par 65 in Round 2 and a 1-under-par 70 to close out the tournament with a final tally of 10-under-par 203.
With Jones leading the Cougar attack, Colorado Christian took home the team title, defeating the six other RMAC men’s golf sponsoring institutions at the event.
