Adams State’s Campos, Western Colorado’s Kolb Earn Final RMAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

Campos posts the nation's best 10,000-meter time; Kolb clears provisional qualifying height

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –  Adams State University’s Julian Campos and Western Colorado University’s Brandon Kolb earned the final Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field weekly honors of the season, presented by Genesee Nutrition. 

The 2026 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo, runs April 24–26, with competition getting underway Friday as the decathlon and heptathlon events begin. 

Track Athlete of the Week 

Julian Campos, Adams State (Senior, Aberdeen, Washington) 

Campos posted a time of 28:40.63 in the 10,000-meter run at the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, earning a second-place finish against a highly competitive field. His mark stands as the top time in Division II this season, leading the national leaderboard by three seconds and establishing a new personal best in the process.

Field Athlete of the Week 

Brandon Kolb, Western Colorado (Freshman, Steamboat Springs, Colorado) 

Kolb captured the high jump title Thursday at the Western Slope RMAC Last Chance, clearing 2.02 meters (6 feet, 7.5 inches) to secure the victory. The mark meets the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard and stood as the top clearance of the competition.
