DENVER, Colo. - For the seventh consecutive year, the Rangers of Regis University reign atop the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, securing the 2026 RMAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship with a commanding 14-5 victory over Westminster University.

The top-seeded Rangers captured their ninth conference title in program history with a dominant win over the third-seeded Griffins. Maggie Schipfer opened the scoring for Regis, sparking an early surge that quickly set the tone. Before the Griffins could answer, the Rangers had already seized control, closing the first quarter with a commanding 5–0 lead.

Regis only built on that momentum in the second, erupting for six more goals and heading into halftime with a decisive 11-0 advantage.

The Griffins broke through in the 12th minute of the third quarter, when Lilliana Montano netted their first goal of the championship game. From there, Westminster University added two more in the period, while the Rangers answered with one of their own.

As the game wound down in the fourth, Regis kept its foot on the gas on both ends, adding three more goals while holding the Griffins to just two in the final frame.

The Rangers’ attack was powered by a balanced offensive effort, with Evie Tanella, Aubtrey Benton, and Maggie Schipfer each recording hat tricks. Kyla Bieker and Rome Villani added two goals apiece, while Lexie Springman contributed one.

In the cage, Brigit Goetsch anchored the Rangers with 12 saves and six ground balls, while also surpassing 500 career saves in the process.

Now, the Rangers await their placement in the 2026 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship, with the selection show set for May 3 and first-round action beginning May 7.
