Colorado School of Mines’ Liam Allan Earns Men’s Golfer of the Week Honors

Allan collects his first career tournament victory

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –  Colorado School of Mines freshman Liam Allan claims the winner of the Week 10 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week award, the conference announced Thursday.

Allan is the conference’s Golfer of the Week after dominating at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona. At the premiere event, Allan shot even in round 1, 7-under-par 65 in Round 2, and 5-under-par 67 in Round 3. Thanks to his outstanding performance, the Scottsdale native recorded his first career tournament victory after prevailing in a playoff to defeat Chico State’s Naoki Easterday.
