COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced a three-year agreement with SportsTrip, a nationwide sports travel management platform. The partnership will help member institutions simplify travel logistics for RMAC championships, particularly during team tournaments.

"The RMAC is excited to partner with SportsTrip and provide our member institutions with a trusted resource for championship travel," said Danielle Harris, RMAC Commissioner. "Coordinating hotel logistics during championships can be one of the more stressful components of postseason competition. This partnership offers our coaches and administrators a streamlined way to handle these logistics, allowing them to place greater emphasis on their student-athletes’ championship experience and performance."

Headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, SportsTrip launched in 2016 to optimize hotel booking logistics, aiming to make coaches' lives easier through an automated, organized booking process for hotels and transportation. In 2019, Jasa Rhone became SportsTrip's Managing Director, hiring a growth-oriented team to elevate the SportsTrip brand and its services. Today, under Rhone’s leadership as CEO, the company serves more than 1,000 collegiate teams across the United States and is the preferred travel partner for multiple athletic departments and major conferences, including the Big West, MAAC, Big South, and America East.

"SportsTrip is thrilled to partner directly with the RMAC," said Jasa Rhone, SportsTrip CEO. "Over the years we've supported conference teams and universities, and now we're excited to help the conference with its travel needs. Our goal at SportsTrip is to help coaches and administrators save time and money, ultimately giving athletes the best on-field experience. We're confident this partnership will continue helping student-athletes thrive."

SportsTrip's platform addresses a common challenge for coaches and administrators arranging last-minute hotel bookings during conference tournament play. Through SportsTrip, users can source, compare, manage, and book hotels, buses, commercial group flights, and charter travel. Hotels and transportation providers compete for each team's business on the platform, allowing SportsTrip to negotiate and secure strong rates, accommodations, and contract terms. SportsTrip's services are free to use and do not involve agent fees.

In addition to its designation as the preferred championship hotel booking provider of the RMAC, SportsTrip will provide an annual sponsorship supporting the RMAC's championship enhancements. SportsTrip will also have the opportunity to present at annual RMAC meetings, promoting its regular-season travel services, which three RMAC institutions currently use.
