Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference 2026-27 Preseason Women’s Golf Coaches’ Poll

The league also announced its 2026-27 Preseason All-RMAC Women’s Golf Team with eight student-athletes earning recognition. Again this season, the RMAC’s preseason teams are determined by placing returning athletes according to their national rankings from the 2025-26 season.

CSU Pueblo continues to set the pace in the RMAC, as the ThunderWolves collected 76 points in the coaches’ poll, including four first-place votes and five second-place votes. The ThunderWolves enter the season as five-time defending RMAC champions after capturing the 2026 conference title by six strokes. CSU Pueblo secured the championship with three student-athletes finishing among the top five individually: Thale Victoria Estensen placed fourth, while Lisa Ekberg and Freya Constable tied for fifth. Ekberg, Olivia Heard, and Yale Lee represent CSU Pueblo on the 2026-27 RMAC Women’s Golf Preseason Poll, giving the ThunderWolves a conference-leading three preseason honorees.

Westminster University follows closely behind the ThunderWolves with 74 points, earning four first-place votes, three second-place votes, and two third-place votes. The Griffins finished tied for second at the 2026 RMAC Women’s Golf Championship with a 31-over-par 751. Reigning RMAC Golfer of the Year Ashley Lam returns to lead the Griffins after capturing the individual championship at the RMAC Championship in each of the past two seasons. Lily Shins joins Lam as a Preseason All-RMAC selection after placing 12th individually at last season’s RMAC Championship. With two honorees, Westminster boasts the second-most Preseason All-RMAC selections of any institution.

Colorado Christian University checks in at No. 3 in the coaches’ poll, collecting 63 points with one first-place vote, two second-place votes, and three third-place votes. The Cougars tied Westminster for second place at the 2026 RMAC Women’s Golf Championship, also carding a 31-over-par 751. Colorado Mesa University sits just three points behind the Cougars in fourth place, earning 60 points with one first-place vote and four third-place votes. Metropolitan State University of Denver rounds out the top five in the preseason poll with 41 points.
