COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines safety Parker Johnson and punter Lucas LeSieur, along with New Mexico Highlands University quarterback Kadyn Parr, are the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Week 3 Players of the Week, announced Monday.
Parr led the Cowboys to a win against Black Hill State with a 315-yard, four-touchdown passing effort and also led the team in rushing. Colorado School of Mines secured its win against Fort Lewis with Johnson’s third-quarter pick-six and LeSieur’s punting effort, which pinned the Skyhawks inside their own 20-yard line on each of three punts
Offensive
Kadyn Parr, New Mexico Highlands (Junior (RS), Quarterback, Newbury Park, California)
Parr threw four touchdown passes to lead New Mexico Highlands to a 44-36 victory over Black Hills State. He completed 20-of-31 passes for a career-best 315 yards, including touchdown passes of 24, 56, 20, and 14 yards to four different receivers. Three of those touchdowns came right around halftime, propelling NMHU from a two-point lead to a 37-15 lead in under 23 minutes of game time. Parr also ran for a team-best 64 yards on 17 carries and finished with 379 yards of total offense. He found 11 different receivers on the day, each catching a pass of at least 10 yards

Parker Johnson, Colorado School of Mines (Freshman (RS), Safety, Houston, Texas)
Johnson’s 40-yard pick-six highlighted a strong defensive outing by Colorado School of Mines in a 34-3 victory against Fort Lewis. He returned the pick-six with 5:39 remaining in the third quarter, extending the Orediggers' lead to 27-0. Johnson also had four tackles (all solo) and two pass breakups, leading a defense that allowed just 188 total offensive yards.

LaSieur kept Fort Lewis bottled up in its own end off his three punts, averaging 55.0 yards per punt with all three downed inside the 20-yard line in Colorado School of Mines’ 34-3 victory. His three punts went 58, 56, and 51 yards, and Fort Lewis started from its own 11, 5, and 16-yard lines on each boot, respectively.
