COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State University’s Ivy Agee joins Colorado Mesa University’s Olivia Barrett and Keely Wieczorek as the Week 4 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. Agee earns the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week award, while Barrett and Wieczorek are the Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.

Offensive
Ivy Agee, Black Hills State (Freshman, Midfielder, Powell, Wyo.)
Agee served as the offensive catalyst for the Yellow Jackets last week, helping BHSU start conference play 2-0, with victories over New Mexico Highlands University and Adams State University. In her first match of the week, Agee scored twice on five shots, including three on goal, in just 50 minutes of action to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 4-0 victory over the Cowgirls. She followed that performance by finding the back of the net once more in BHSU’s next contest, recording three shots with her lone goal coming on her only shot on target. Her offensive efforts helped the Yellow Jackets secure a 3-1 victory. With three goals on the week, Agee has now scored nine times this season, a total that ranks second in NCAA Division II.

Defensive
Olivia Barrett, Colorado Mesa (Junior, Defender, Castle Rock, Colo.)
Barrett played a major role in the Mavericks’ undefeated start to conference play, as her squad took down Colorado Christian University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. In the Mavericks first game of the week, Barrett played all 90 minutes, with her team only allowing six shots on goal, while recording a shot herself. With the help of Barrett, CMU defeated CCU 1-0. In her next match, the junior led the Mavericks’ defense, holding MSU Denver without a shot throughout the 90-minute contest. With the defense dominating, the Mavericks offense scored two goals.

Goalkeeper
Keely Wieczorek, Colorado Mesa (Senior, Goalkeeper, Camas, Wash.)
 Wieczorek continued to shine between the posts for the Mavericks, recording a pair of shutouts to help CMU during their undefeated week. In the Mavericks’ first match, Wieczorek made six saves across 90 minutes in goal, guiding her team to a 1-0 victory. Against the Roadrunners, the senior goalkeeper earned her 50th career win and 39th career shutout, helping CMU secure another victory on the road in Denver. Wieczorek now has four shutouts on the season, with all four coming in her last four matches.
