COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo’s fifth-year forward Nick Cenek and senior goalkeeper Esteban Gonzalez, along with junior defender Lucas Taitt of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, earned this week’s Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive, Defensive and Goalkeeper of the Week awards announced by the conference on Tuesday.

OFFENSIVE
Nick Cenek, CSU Pueblo (Fifth Year, Forward, Peoria, Ill.)
Cenek powered 21^st-ranked CSU Pueblo to a 2-0 week to start conference action with three goals, including two game-winners. He scored both goals in a 2-0 shutout victory over Colorado Christian before converting a penalty kick just 48 seconds after Fort Lewis tied the match, putting the Pack back in front for a 3-1 road victory. Cenek totaled five shots, three on goal, and helped CSU Pueblo improve to 6-0-0.

DEFENSIVE
Lucas Taitt, UCCS (Junior, Defender, Shawnee, Kan.)
Taitt put together a strong weekend on the defensive wing for the Mountain Lions, helping the team to an unbeaten weekend against MSU Denver and 17^th-ranked Regis. In addition to limiting the Roadrunners to a pair of goals and the Rangers to just a single goal on the defensive end, Taitt found the back of the net in both games and tallied four shots. On Thursday evening against MSU Denver, Taitt played 61 minutes and scored an early goal in the 22^nd minute that gave UCCS a 1-0 lead at the time, with the game ultimately finishing in a 2-2 draw. In Sunday afternoon’s match at Regis, Taitt logged 74 minutes of action and came up with the game-tying goal in the 82nd minute before the Mountain Lions added another score in the 88th for a 2-1 comeback victory.

GOALIE
Esteban Gonzalez, CSU Pueblo (Senior, Goalkeeper, Brussels, Belgium)
Gonzalez delivered a standout week in goal, totaling nine saves while allowing just one goal across 180 minutes as CSU Pueblo went 2-0. He made two saves in a 2-0 shutout against Colorado Christian before recording seven saves at Fort Lewis, including a first-half penalty-kick stop that preserved the Pack's lead. Gonzalez also contributed offensively in both victories, earning an assist on Cenek's game-winner against CCU and another on Orozco Soto's goal at Fort Lewis.
