Cody Bush joined the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference as Associate Commissioner for Strategic Communication in August 2024.
Prior to joining the RMAC, Bush was the Assistant Director of Athletics for Strategic Communications and Branding at Austin Peay State University and he was a member of the Governors athletics department's communications staff for 25 seasons. In addition to overseeing the department’s athletics communications office, Bush coordinated the department’s broadcasting efforts on radio and streaming video through ESPN+.
In addition, Bush served as official scorer for the Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship for 20 seasons (2002-22) and was an official scorer for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds since for nine seasons (2015-24).
A 1997 graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, Bush obtained his master’s degree in sports administration from Wichita State in 2001. The Silver Lake, Kansas native is a member of the College Sports Communicators, the Football Writers Association of America, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
